In this episode of the Brick by Brick Podcast, I spoke with Malena Solis, a current Albion College senior and Build Albion Fellow. Malena is studying Psychology and Sociology and concentrating in Business and Human Services. If that doesn’t sound like a lot, Malena also shares the involvements she has had during her time at Albion College including the golf team, working in Admissions and at the Dow Center, being a tour guide trainer, all while being a Build Albion Fellow.
Through our conversation, Malena and I discuss the Build Albion Fellows. This is a four year scholarship that selects up to ten Albion area high school seniors to serve the Albion community while attending Albion College. In exchange for tuition, students serve different community organizations throughout the four years.
