Although National Reading Month will be soon be coming to a close, there are still plenty of ways to continue to enjoy reading in the Albion community.
There is still time to explore Kids ‘N’ Stuff Children’s Museum’s traveling exhibit Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites™. Travel through the interactive exhibits with your little ones as they immerse themselves fan favorites like The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter while learning some critical pre-reading skills. The exhibit will be up until May 26th. So grab the kids and be immersed in a land of wonder.
Read as much as you can at the Albion District Library. With a library card, there are endless ways to read. There are books, magazines, audio books, among some great events centered around connection. Library cards a free for locals.
Support our local bookstore year round! Stirling Books & Brew is a must when you are looking for some great reads. Ranging from local authors to thrillers and romance, Stirling keeps some great options on hand. If they don’t have what you are looking for, they are more than happy to help get you what you desire. With the cozy atmosphere it is easy to get drawn into your reading as you sip a freshly made coffee.
And as the year continues, the community will look forward to reading together with Albion’s Big Read in October. Albion’s Big Read combines community engagement, youth leadership, and common reading into one loving space.
