Spooktacular Excitement in Albion this Fall



Albion’s Octobers are filled with crisp air, walks on the trails, and changing leaves. You can cheer on the home teams at Albion College and Marshall High School football games, shop for your favorite fall reads at Stirling Books & Brew, enjoy warm soups from Foundry Bakehouse & Deli, and come together as a community for Albion’s Big Read. This year, Albion is getting spooky with some exciting opportunities.

Terror Tuesdays at the Bohm Theatre

Have a thrilling time at the Bohm Theatre this October with Terror Tuesdays! Executive Director, Shannon Aikins shared, “we have selected a wide variety of truly terrorizing films, from the original 1931 Frankenstein to the psychologically thrilling classic, The Shining, released in 1980!” Every Tuesday at 7PM, view a throwback thriller for $5.

Green Witches Broom Workshop at EBMY Farm

On Saturday, October 5th from 3PM – 5PM, create your own decorative broom at EBMY Farm! Learn how to create a fun new door decoration from dried flowers, grasses, and seed pods. Sign up required 269–

Who You Gonna Call? Albion Chamber!

Make your way downtown Albion with your little ones on Sunday, October 27th from 1PM – 3PM for Sweets on Superior Street! Community organizations and businesses will be lining the sidewalks ready to pass out treats to all the amazing kids in our community.

Max’s Pumpkin Patch

Pick your pumpkins locally this year at the Fuentes’ family farm! After their son, Max, picked out a $22 pumpkin four years ago, Audra and Nathan Fuentes decided there needed to be a change in pumpkin picking. Since then, the Fuentes family has been growing pumpkins for Max and for the community. Located at 12940 28 ½ Mile Road, Albion, they are open weekday evenings and weekends for you to get your pumpkins!
