The Bohm Theatre is venue for film, performing arts, and arts education activities striving to meet the needs of Albion, MI and the surrounding area.

The Great Lake to Lake Trail takes walkers, bikers and hikers from South Have to Port Huron and right through Albion along the way.  The Great Lake to Lake Trail includes the Albion River Trail which is 1.6 miles of paved trail that runs along Albion’s rivers and parks.  For a trail map and to see how Albion connects in the larger Great Lake to Lake Trail, visit the MichiganTrails.org website and download a trail map.

The Iron Belle Trail uses existing trails, networks and connections to extend the trails more than 2,000 miles from the western tip of the Upper Peninsula to Belle Isle in Detroit.  Proposed additions to the Iron Belle Trail would create paved trails all along the Iron Belle Trail including through Albion.  Currently, the trail uses existing roads to connect a network of paved trails, including roads through Albion.

Albion is the hub for several trails including the North Country Trail. The North Country Trail is the longest in the National Trails System, stretching 4,600 miles over 7 states from the middle of North Dakota to the Vermont border of New York. The North Country Trail passes through downtown and is in close proximity to many of Albion’s greatest features. Recently Albion was designated a Trail Town because of its amenities for trail walkers, hikers, and bikers.

Built around 1875, the Gardner House Museum is a great way to see some of Albion’s history. Albion’s Historical Society purchased the Gardner House in May 1966, and turned it into a museum.

The Gardner House Museum is open Mother’s Day weekend through the end of September. It is also open by appointment for tours to groups, such as churches, civic organizations, schools and clubs.

A full 18-hole disc golf course with the feature every new and experienced player is looking for. Many players note that the first few holes are deceivingly easy and progressively get harder with the introduction of wooded shots and water holes. The first nine holes are nestled in the woods and shaded while the back nine includes scenic waterway play. The course is centered in Victory Park and a course map can be found on the PDGA website.

The Albion Anagama is the largest single-chamber wood-fired kiln in the United States. Ken Shenstone owns and operates the kilns just outside of downtown Albion.  Ken and other artists from around the world fire their art in four different kilns that Ken has built.  The kilns are built from salvaged firebricks from the Albion Malleable Iron Company while it was shutting down. The kilns are fired several times a year and due to the requirements to keep the temperatures stable in the kiln throughout the firing, they become events drawing people from around the area to celebrate.

Teaching and training center for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) and robotics in Southwest Michigan. Offering summer programing, robotics teams, and so much more.

Play and eat. University Lanes is the local bowling alley with monthly events, delicious eats, and a good time for all.
