Since May of 2023, the Albion community’s positive media presence has been on an upswing. From business highlights to non-profit work, and event promotions – Albion’s presences is rising. But why? One impactful reason is the Community & Brand Ambassador.
What is a Community & Brand Ambassador? This innovative position is a partnership between various Albion organization who envisioned a role that constantly promotes the great events, organizations, and aspects of Albion, Michigan. The role is currently held at the Albion Community Foundation but directed by each partner.
The role is a hybrid of marketing through social media, newsletters, press releases, articles, and other materials. The CBA provides supplemental content for partnering organizations and maintains the Downtown Albion social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok), Albion Connected email list (with weekly event emails), and monthly Naturally Connected Newsletter (an Albion based newsletter with a monthly calendar and stories available online and across the community). The position envelops community connections with impactful messaging.
