Interurban Railway (feat. Norman Krentel)

August 4 @ 6:00 pm
🚃 Author and past president of the Illinois Railway Museum, Norman Krentel, will be at the library on August 4 at 6 PM to talk about the interurban.
The interurban was an electric railway that transported many Michiganders between cities throughout the early 1900s. During that time, Albion served as an important stop on the Michigan Railway Company’s route between Jackson and Kalamazoo, and many Albion residents worked at their main car repair shop, Taylorville.
