Fraud Fighting: Protecting Your Finances & Yourself from Scams – AALL Course

Wednesdays, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.  May 6, 13, 20, plus Monday May 18 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.  Class size unlimited.

This course equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to identify, prevent, and respond to fraudulent activity in everyday life. Through clear examples, practical tips, and easy-to-follow guidance, you’ll learn how to recognize common scams, safeguard your personal and financial information, and take confident action when something doesn’t feel right.

Designed with seniors in mind, this course focuses on real-world situations—from phone and email scams to financial and in-person fraud—empowering you to stay informed, stay alert, and stay protected.

Albion Area Lifelong Learners Membership & Registration Information 

While members must be 55 or older, younger partners are also eligible to join. Annual dues are $30 per person, with the membership year running from July 1 through June 30 of the following year. Dues are prorated based on when a member joins:

  • $30 for the full year
  • $20 if joining after one academic session
  • $10 if joining after two academic sessions

Members may take one free course per term (fall, winter, and spring). Additional courses in the same term cost $10 per course. Some classes may have extra charges for materials or transportation.
