Application Deadline March 13th at 5PM
Attention non-profit leaders and organizers – the first grant round deadline for the Albion Community Foundation is March 13th at 5PM. Grants from the Foundation are a great way to support your Albion programming, whether it’s a completely new or a tried and true offering, our grants committees are excited to review your application and support your impact in the Albion community.
Look at your work and see what fund application may be the best fit for you! Available grants to apply for in this first grant round include:
Fund for Greater Albion: Focus is improving the quality of life for the residents of the greater Albion area and the community itself. Maximum grant request $10,000, a 10% cash match is required.

Youth Advisory Committee Fund: Supports local youth needs and youth development in the local community, advised by the Youth Advisory Committee. Maximum grant request $5,000.
James C. Kingsley Youth Fund: Celebrates the life of James C. Kingsley, husband, father, grandfather, friend, and the longest serving judge on the Calhoun County, Michigan Circuit Court bench. As a result of Jim’s lifelong commitment to justice and community service, and his love of Albion, this fund is established to meet local youth needs and encourage youth development in the community of Albion and its surrounds. There is no maximum request amount. The fund awards $10,000 to $15,000 annually.
Riverfront Development and Environmental Fund: Supports activities that improve the Kalamazoo River and areas surrounding the river, as well as projects that support the environment.
Agriculture Education and Support Fund: Focus on agriculture, education, food access, and anything between. Maximum grant request is $500.
