“Music is the great connector.”
Although Ramona Kidder is not originally from Albion, she has created a long-lasting impact on the Albion community as the Co-Owner of Dickerson Music Company, Festival of the Forks Committee Chair-Person, Walk the Beat Board Member, and assisting with Fête de la Musique. Clearly with all her involvements in the community, Kidder holds music close to her heart.
As Kidder discussed her passion for music, her eyes light up explaining her hopes of bringing music to everyone. Kidder described music as “the great connector” when describing Fête de la Musique, an event originally from France that celebrates music. Fête de la Musique has expanded to most parts of the world, including Albion. On June 21st, local musicians of all skill levels celebrate music by sharing their talents downtown Albion for all to enjoy. Connecting our community to music, and countless cultures through music.
