The Gerald R. Ford Institute for Leadership in Public Policy and Service at Albion College invites you to join Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow Angela Maria Kelley for a public lecture on Tuesday, March 26. Her talk, “Immigration: Is There a Way Forward,” will take place at 7:00 pm in Bobbitt Auditorium.
Angela Maria Kelley is the Senior Strategic Advisor for Immigration at the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Policy Center where her work focuses on the policies and politics of immigration and integration issues at the state and federal level. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Center for American Progress Action Fund (2015 to 2017) and served as a White House advisor on immigration executive actions (2014).
Ms. Kelly, daughter of South American immigrants, began her legal career as a legal services attorney representing low income immigrants. She received a JD from the George Washington University Law School and was a Georgetown University Law School Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow.
